The question is:
WHEN will you need your Premed papers? And will you need them at all?
I did a big research reading USMLE, ECFMG and different residency sites. There is NO mentioning of premed whatsoever. You do not need to have a paper confirming you have premed for USMLE and for residency, as well as for foreing medical graduates to receive ECFMG certificate.

I am a future foreign med.graduate, and I really need to know is premed a FORMALITY to enter a med.school or will it really be requested of the way to the licensure???

Also, as far as I am starting to understand, PREMED is a US product, required to enter a US school or Foreign med.schoo that uses US curruculum. THere is no such thing as PREMED in European medschools.
(instead, they require ONLY US potential students to have some prerequisites to enter their schools, like for example a MedUniversity in Prague look here http://www.valuemd.com/medschool/usmleforum.php?url=http://www.firstfaculty.com)
Plus, I took my highschool syllabus ( from Russia), and it substantially matches an average premed requirementsƒº)))) So, it basically means that what we did in last two years of high school in Russia, is what Americans do in college¡K¡K

This is just some research. But the question stays the same ¡V at what point of studying towards licensure the question of premed will arise and will it arise at all?

I count very much on your inputs, it is very time consuming to get some right info in the Internet.

Thank you all.
