Hi

I going to apply to one of Caribbean School on this September and want to hear the possibility of admission from you

My Undergraduate GPA : 2.95( management majored )
Premed 1st semester : 3.6
My career : worked at Sony as marketing manager for 10 years
( it totally doesn't related to medical field)
Mcat is not taken yet ..
volunteer : 100 hours in hospital.

I really want to know how much it is affected by undergraduate GPA I obtained 10years ago. I know thear are many criteria , however it is still big headace for me .. please give me your sincere advice about GPA and evaluation even though the information mentioned above isn't enough .

Oh, uh you may have a chance at a US school if you keep doing well. Go to a US school before carrib if you can. 10 years is way long enough plus your experience in a different career should be enough to convince even the US medschool of your new drive to be an MD. I know of a place to go and explore from people with low grades before and did better later:

Have to take MCAT for most Carrib, I heard that even my school now requires a score.

10 years is a long time. Did you finish all your necessary Premedical requirements? Also, best to take the MCAT.
