Expect ... the unexpected?

Hi guys! I just sent off my application to SGU 3rd premed today, and I am getting nervous already :? So, please shed some lights for me on

-how long would take me to get an answer from SGU
-wat the minimum GPA in order to get an interview ????
-how can I know SGU has received my application???


ANY ADVICE OR WORD OF WISDOM FOR ME ??? :P

- How to know SGU has received your application?
The school generally sends a postcard acknowledging that they received your app & assigns you an admissions officer as your point of contact. Well, they do for SOM apps, but I'd guess it should be the same for SAS.

- How long to get an answer
THAT varies hugely. If you search the forum, you'd find some monstrous threads full of people biting their nails waiting forever, while some hear within a couple of weeks.

- Minimum GPA to get an interview?
School doesn't commit to a minimum, so the accepted students' GPA's vary widely as well. It's mainly coz they look @ your overall application, rather than specific, narrow criteria like most stateside schools.
