View Full Version : When to go home after first semester?

It says that the semester ends on December 12, 2003, when should I book my flight to go home? Should I give myself one day to pack? and what day does the college expect you to leave?

Most people leave on saturday morning, so the 13th of december. All the people that party go out drinking the night before and stay out most of the night getting wasted so they can sleep for the entire 9-16 hour flight(depending where you live). It is a lot of fun to hang out with the people who usually won't go out due to school. ARRRRGGGHHH, I can't wait for this term to be over already!!

Does anyone stick around for a few days after classes end to travel at all bec i am sure there is no time to do it during the year with the work load.

I am planning on leaving on December 14. Will that be a problem? Do the housing people force you to leave on the 13th?

Some people stay here the ENTIRE break. I did last break. I traveled all over. However, I do not know what the policy is regarding the dorms. I apologize, but that is something to address with the admin.

i know at my college in TX they gave us 24hrs after the last final to leave, usually kids get a storage space with a friend or 2. but i dont know how england works

I usually stay a couple of days after finals so I can see my final grade and travel some.

how long does it take for grades to be posted and how does it get posted by name, ss# student id?

Grades are posted the day after exams at 4:00pm

how do you identify your self on the grade list is it by student id? social security #, or by name?

They use the last 6 digits of your social security number.
