btw when i say the interviewers were brash, i don't mean any disrespect. they were very kind and receptive to what i had to say. its just they were very direct

ok i got my acceptance letter today via USPS Global preority mail , exactly 8 days after my interview. things that theya sked me on the interview

1. why do you want a carrier in medicine?
2. why did you choose saba?
3. why didnt you write your MCAT?
4. what other schools did you apply to?
5. is your family supportive about your decission for a career in medicine?
6. what do you know about the island?

there were ofcourse other small questions with one sentence answers.
the people are on speaker phone, make sure there is perfect silence when you give your interview or else you wotn be able to catch on to what theya re saying.

note 1. all of a sudden one of them asked me to open page 39 on the catalogue, i didnt have the catalog infront of me, so i had to say that i didnt have it right infront of me.

note 2. i forgot to mention out of nervousness that one of the major reason i chose saba was for the low tution fees, so they explained it to me.

my email address is plabon@hotmail.com. any canadian student going to sep 2005 class please contact me so i can get some preparation info.
thanks

well, i just had my interview....very strange....don't know what to make of it....

very informal....it was about 25mins. long, but hardly asked me any questions really, spent the first 10 mins talking about local current events, which i had absolutely no idea about!!

oh man....is this good sign, bad sign....i just don't know.....what a long week it's going to be waiting.

Probably a good sign. They already had their mind made up to accept you, and were just doing the interview as a formality. :o
(If they already had their mind up to reject you, you wouldn't got an interview in the first place)

All IMO of course! Good luck :!:

Salutations drj2b:

I know it is easier said than done but try to relax. In fact, do not even think about the interview from now on until the decision arrives. As keyshaw stated, they probably already have you in mind as a candidate since they bothered to give you an interview. One other thing. Do not analyze yourself or beat yourself up over some of your responses. That will be torture! Anyways, good luck. Ciao. :D

drj2b my suggestion,

read a book, go to the movies (which you are doing), work if you can ( work really allows very little time to think about your admission).

hope it helps

It is killing me to wait for the acceptance or rejection letter from SABA? Has anyone receive a phone call telling that he/she is accepted/rejected?

Is it ok to email/call to Garner to request your status?
