info please,
has anyone managed to take out 25,000 dollars from TERI and IEFC, both.
is credit card the only option to pay for first semester tuition, assuming no liquid money. can you please share info on what you did to secure funds.
thanks
From my understanding, the Teri loan is the IEFC loan, except for international students. If you are a U.S. student, then you take out the Teri loan. If you are an international student, then you apply for the IEFC loan. This is what I understand. If I am mistaken, someone please correct me. Thanks.

Well it turned out my timing was just right when I started - my parents were able to lend me the money I needed for about 3 months until I could get my loan money.

I thought TERI loans were just for US and Canadian schools? How are you supposed to pay tuition for 4 years if you can only take out $25,000?

This may sound pretty stupid but are you talking about the max amount of $ that can be taken out per year or in total? Thanks!

You can take out $25,000 every two semesters - so $125,000 for your degree.
