As long as they're not "flip flop/thong slippers" as you put it, I'm sure you'll be fine. I looked at the student handbook and it said as long as they're not thongs, you're fine. It also mentioned that sandals are acceptable...just not thongs. Hope this helps!

Alot of the students, regardless of gender, decide to wear tennis shoes/ sneakers with their uniforms.
Sandals are great for the island, except on the days when it rains.
Keep in mind that since we are on a small island, when it rains, you do see quite alot of flooding. And you do not want to get your feet soaked! And I kid you not.

I aways wore sandles when it rained because they dried out quickly where as trainers/sneakers tend to hold the water for a londer period of time.

It rained pretty darn hard today for a while...The street next to the residence hall is one that really floods, too.

How true is this...as I found out today. Although, I do like wearing sandals cuz they dry out quicker. The water was above my ankles in places.

Well, Madam Hillary Rodham Rodham is up there in the polls. Oh No, please not another socialist experiment in our healthcare. We still can't recover from her "initiative" of 1993-94

There may be a woman president before very long. Wouldn't it be interesting (albeit scary) to have a Clinton v. Rice matchup. I'm not saying that they're my favorite candidates, but that's not because of their gender.
By the way, Bob2k, it doesn't seem that either of these women are obsessed with shoes. I also think a broad statement like that is a good way to get a large mob of angry women at your door.

I am the official shoe moderator....you can wear any shoes you like, however , bluish shoes are frowned apon. As for clothing...only Ralph Lauren shirts and Calvin Klein pants/shorts are permitted. Best of luck with the new semster.
