If a Ross student wants to transfer to SMU, will the fact that they are a transfer student from another Carribean med school hurt thier admission chances? What if a student fails in their 3rd semester at Ross. If they transfer to SMU, do they start in 3rd,, or do they have to start all over again from 1st? Thanks very much.

we have a lot of transfers from Ross, SMU will count your credits most of the time so you wont need to repeat a class

As long as you have pased your classes, they will be validated by SMU.
As mentioned above, there are some Ross transfers here.

What if someone for example, failed 2nd semester at Ross. They then repeated that 2nd semester at Ross. Let's say they now failed 3rd semester at Ross and want to transfer to SMU? Would they have to start at SMU from semester #1 because they failed so often? Or would the retaken credits count?

JP would answer this better, but only the classes you pass at Ross will be accepted.

Each transfer credit decision is made individually by the Vice President.
