yeah, any comments from people who did this program or from those who know people in the program would be great.

i've been considering the combined program to bolster my residency application, but don't know if it's worth the time and money.

hi
i was in the program for a couple of days...and if u are interested, i would suggest to start it in your first semester..its about $1200 extra for 3 semester and you aren't allowed to take it during your 5th semester....i decided not to pursue in with is because I felt that i needed to spend more time with the MD course work and as the semesters progress and hearing that i'd need to do research in my later semesters, i personally didn't think i could handle..but there are students who are doing it and are enjoying it, so give it a try, see how you feel and then u can make a decision..:) good luck!

research....ugggh. i've already got one master's thesis under my belt, i shudder to think of going through another root canal like that was.

I did the hyperbaric masters degree while I was there. It wasn't much extra work, I got to learn how to run the chamber and treat people, and people were impressed with the fact that I have a masters and did it while doing my MD when I went on interviews.

did you have to write a thesis?

do you think it had an impact when applying for residency
