GETTING PAID

When is the first time, post Dominica, you will start getting paid at the hospitals? At my interview in Miami the student that was there said he gets about $1000 per month for tutoring other students(or something along those lines). Do you get any stipends for rotations or does the $$ start during residency?

You can get paid to tutor or TA as early as your 3rd semester. But you actually don't start getting paid (salary for medicine) until you start residency.
