i've heard that Costanzo's physiology review book is helpful - has anyone used this one?? she's the same person that wrote the physiology BRS, but i've heard she had a review book out that was even better than her BRS. just wondering if this is it?!?

Her Physio Review book, used to be called STARS Physiology, now it just goes by her name is pretty good. I recommend using it in conjunction with the Physio BRS. The BRS is also great, but use the Constanzo book as your primary source and back it up with the BRS. The BRS has a pretty weak Acid/Base section and respiratory can be beefed up a little as well.

Just get the BRS... You'll be knee deep in all the cardio stuff and will have no time to read all the extra books. Cardio Phys at AUC is serious stuff, most textbook don't even have all that info. Just find some scribs along with a BRS and u should be fine.

costanzo has a great physiology book that looks like the brs but it is yellow. golden book i call it because it was invalueable for the USMLE. it gives you real case scenarios and then asks essay type questions. a friend and I would pick 2-4 cases a night and discuss them. really great stuff.
