Wow! that is really expensive about the same as the Bay area California!
I am a little shocked...but maybe all beach front property is expensive,
i wasn't expecting 500-700k condos hehe...crazy! :shock:

Must be some real high rollers down there, wait a minute i wonder if its not the casinos taking all the students money and investing in real estate so they could rent out their investments to the students or tourists.
That would have a real sense of Irony for all the casino goers:lol:


Btw: its 2:49am here in the Bay area and i can't get to sleep. I dunno maybe its the fact that i only have about a week left till i make my way down there. I can't seem to close my eyes for longer than 15min, i keep thinking of how its going to be down there, who i will meet, how school will be and that i am going to make my dream come true. I can't wait !

We bought a house in the Philadelphia sub's....five years with 140,000 and now the value of the house is 280,000. Too bad my whife doe's not want to sale it.

Yeah, value can go down too...let's say the neighbor decides to start a crack-house, or there is a boom in new housing, etc.

we moved here from the bay area as well and i think we have been less shell shocked by prices than others b/c of that. we also bought organic in the states so the groceries don't seem super extreme to us either. welcome welcome! see you soon!
