View Full Version : 1st Semester Sale

By now all the AUC Basic Sciences students should have received an email about the upcoming 1st semester sale. This is our first attempt at holding a sale in the very beginning of the semester in hopes that we can help the newbies get settled. The set up costs can really add up, so hopefully our used goods will benefit the incoming class. Because there was a recent 5th semester sale held to help outgoing students get rid of their unwanted items, there is no telling how much stuff we'll actually have to offer. I hope to encourage a lot of the 2nd-5th semester students to do some spring cleaning in order to offer the newbies as much as we can (and make a little cash on the side...maybe spend it on the appetizers at PegLeg Pub...yum)!

So, mark your calendars for the weekend of orientation (April 30-May 2), we'll be on bball courts in the mornings (starting at 8am until it gets too dang hot).

For those of you that won't be here, you still have time to get your stuff to me, and I'll sell it for you!

We look forward to welcoming the May class.. see you soon!

interesting... everyone seems be getting emails and stuff about this kinda thing, but i havent gotten anything

is there some sort of directory i should be adding my email addy too?

I've been to the airport a few times already, and will be headed back in a few hours again. After almost two years here, it's easy to pick out the arriving students. You know, the wide eyes and huge piles of luggage! So, the influx has begun!! Welcome to SXM.

If any of the oldies have stuff to sell, don't forget to come to the bball court this weekend! It's a great way to welcome the newbies and help them get settled. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Thank you to all of you that participated in the sale by either buying or selling. Hopefully, those that sold were able to get rid of a lot of stuff and those that bought found some good buys! We are hoping to build upon this for next semester to make it bigger and better. The person heading it for next semester already has great ideas! Thanks again.

I now begin my countdown as it is less than two months before I leave the rock for good. Mixed feelings... that about sums it up! It's been a great roller coaster ride!
