To all first semesters,

One way in which you can easily become familiar with what you are about to learn in Gross Anatomy is to visit:

http://www.med.umich.edu/lrc/coursepages/M1/anatomy/html/courseinfo/video_index.html

This site has videos of each region in an easy to understand format. Please note that Quicktime is needed to view.

Please remember that this is being provided so that you can become familiar with the material -> please do not try and understand everything right now. Definitely relax and enjoy yourself -> you shall more then enough time in the lab to learn and excel in Anatomy.

Start off with the anterior and medial thigh in lower limb. That is all you need to peruse over for now.

See all of you in May!

Duc, you're such a geek! :D

But in med school that's a good thing - I'm a geek too!

Best of luck with semester 2! Pay attention to physio and biochem - they come back around in second year!

End of May/beginning of June. Waiting on Sandy to tell me when I start clinics. She told me to wait for that before I scheduled my exact exam date.

Things are good here. I've been here less than a week and have done a bunch of running around and shopping - sales ROCK! :-D Also played a bunch with my 8 week old niece. She likes her Auntie Shauna. :-D hehe She's cute.

Rest of the family coming in this weekend to form a madhouse for the christening, so I get to see my other two nephews and niece. Then starting Monday it's questions, questions, questions.

*sigh* hehe

Happy studying and good to know you are enjoying with the family and friends. I would wish you luck for Step 1, but I know you don't need it.
