having done with basic science, woke up the next morning and felt tremdnous sense of emptiness. Well, I do not have shelf or kaplan whatsoever or any classes anymore for good, which is kind of confusing and almost overwhelmingly strange feeling.

Decided to take a weekend off as mini vacation before my 8 weeks of exile to the far end of the world called never land sanctuary to study for step 1.Got up and drove off to the French end of the island. sun shines as usual and wind breeze like serpent along my neck and arm.

A dark convertable was tailgating me at 80 Km on the narrow two way roads to the French Marigot. I finally gave up to pull over by marble gate to the fancy french halfway houes to let them pass. OK you won... These naive uropeans think they were in some sort of James Bond movie where the caribbean roads are scarce yet exciting. Their Euros are strong in Dow jones so their inhibitions spilled out of that bottle neck on this far caribbean road.

What is this? is that it? I remember the very first day of Cadevour dissection day when the time seemed frozen to monent and tiring endless number of nights to study for exams after exams. Each day sound seems muffled with brute lack of sleeps. The time and spatial orientaion all got messed up with crushed Cercadian rythem, which was no longer applicable to real life beside neuro exam.

Life is not here for sure....This island is only a stepping stone to reach the stairway to the heaven called Dream. Move on and let go of her. Life seems strange than fiction for sure...

All of you guys from 5th semester, My finest wish on your step 1.
And those of you underclassmen and women, it goes fast and comes like a night's dream called basic science. literally comes and goes like a lightening Volt that shocks your spine through your wet feet to be dissipated onto pavement down and you wake up even not knowing what had gone throug.

Intesnely Focus and lookforward the future ahead of you. It wont be easy but who said that easy life is any better than rocky one, which is a full of trials and inspiring testments that we have to endure to be a MD?

Is that like Neverland Ranch? That's okay...we won't go there (at least I won't :P ).

Best of luck on your Step I, Ken!

CONGRATS KEN - from a long time histo lab friend:

Hard work pays off. I hope you made to the honors society. You definitely deserve it. Keep doing what you do and you will excel in Step 1. Don't forget, it's more stress than anything. You already know the material.

Next is morning rounds - whole different game. I am becoming better at "reverse pimping"

There's a sad sort of clanging
From the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too,
And up in the nurs'ry an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say "coocoo".

Regretfully they tell us,
But firmly they compel us
To say goodby to you.

So long, farewell, Auf wiedersehn, good night,
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight.
So long, farewell, Auf wiedersehn, adieu,
Adieu, adieu, to yieu and yieu and yieu.

So long, farewell, Au'voir, auf wiedersehn,
I'd like to stay and taste my first champagne
So long, farewell, Auf wiedersehn, goodbye,
I leave and heave a sigh and say goodbye,
Good bye

I'm glad to go,
I cannot tell a lie.
I flit, I float,
I fleetly flee, I fly.

The sun has gone to bed and so must I
So long, farewell, auf wiedersehn, goodbye,
Goodbye,
Goodbye,
Goodbye!

Is this My friend Robert? Hello to you then. Congraturation on passing step 1.

The amount of note that you hand wrote shoud be less than a ton at histo lab.

its been rainining hard here on Island and there is some remodeling construction going in histo to expand faculty offices that means histo lab is sherinking its size by about 1/3, which is kind of sad.

I been working on Qreveiw daily since our 5th comp shelf and kaplan shelf.

Things seems to be changing here and there indluding our beloved histo lab and the campus. So by the time when I get home, I will be in twlight zone and no one will recognize me in Denver. The date is 2060 AD, Sunday June 3 on the Denver Post.

Take care Robert.
