Start date for the freshman class?

SGU website states that aug term for the incoming class starts on aug 16th (tue I believe), can someone elaborate more on what goes on the first week? When is the first actual day of classes?

Classes for aug 2005 first termers begins on Aug 15th, so you may want to arrive 5-7 days early. First week involves a variety of activities centered around orietation to SGU and tours around Grenada, which I would reccomend (they are all free), they also had a free booze cruise in feb for the newcomers.

I dont know if you are aware of it but if youve been accepted by sgu and ultimately enroll here, the school will reimburse you for round trip flight and 3 nights accomodation + transport if you wanna come down and visit (try and do so ASAP because students will sson be having exams and leaving here in about 6-8 weeks).

I dont remember the exact details, but you need to book through regina cardigan. Hope your up for a free trip to the caribbean...

First week of school (orientation week) will be one of the funnest weeks ever. You're going to meet soo many different people from so many countries, that's its an experience in itself.

Get to know your classmates.

And for those that know Babu personally, you know where all the mango chutney originates from. :wink:
