ok, to all those who put up with my procasination, i finally sent my app in....now the wait begins....

does everyone get an interview?

and of course, how long does it usually take to hear either good or bad news?

I send mine as one package....will you fax it :o ...that means its was not confidential....don't know man...i hope you didn't open a confidential letter and faxed it......

2 of my references gave me the lors and completed forms, but one of my references just faxed me the completed form and a letter.

is this not ok? i didn't notice anything regarding confidentiality or having to be sent direct?

my advice is to call gardner. their requirement for letters of rec. may vary. i send my entire application at once. I included letters of rec. , the letters were sealed and professors signed the back of the letters.
also a week later i was granted an interview. seven days after the interview i received my acceptance letter.

best of luck to you, and try not to stress to much, saba is quick in processing your application.

oh man, all this prep...and my app. might end up being faulty!!

i didn't see anywhere about the lor's being sealed and all that, maybe it's standard to do that, but i never knew....i hope it isn't required....AAAHHHH!!!

It doesn't matter that you faxed the one letter. Sealed letters that you waived the right to see will carry more weight, but the one you faxed should be fine. They can call the writer to confirm the letter if they need to.
Besides, you sent three letters, one more than required. Just relax.

Call Gardner and ask them if your application is complete and okay, they are really cool about that kind of stuff.

thx for the words,

i've just been going through all the application handbooks and didn't see anything about sealed letters and all that, but now that i think about it, it makes sense as an accepted and maybe assumed method....argh!!

well, yeah, i sent 2 originals, and a fax...the referee faxed it to me, and then i sent it in my app...

well, i guess i'll call tomorrow.....

argh!!

i am sorry, i did not mean to scare you about the sealed and signed thing. it is just one way of sending the letters, i am sure there many different ways. i.e. faxing it.

dont loose any sleep over this, i am sure everything is fine. call gardner and ask if the application is complete and ok.

best of luck.
