Hey Guys,

Does anyone one know what MCP ( Medical Communication Program ) is?

My buddy got offer from SGU, but is says he is accepted for MCP program. Out of curiosity, is this the same as MD?

Is there anyone in this program?

hmm never heard of it...

Me either... Is your friend a not a native speaker of English? Sounds like some kind of ESL program, but I'm just guessing.

I read his offer, MCP ( Medical Communication Program)....
I called the school and they said it is the same as MD, but it last a semester more ( 4 1/2 yr ) to finish and it designed for International students from non-English spoken countries...

Rico Very interesting. I have a feeling it will have the same curriculum order as decelling but with english classes and tutoring. But this is all speculation. I've found very few students who have trouble with english, although in pharm groups the other day we had a ESL person reading the case out loud and i felt like i was back in 1st grade reading class again. If anything, its the clinical tudors who need an english pronounciation class. Better study up on your nigerian and hindi before 4th term and Vinnies.
