Hi all,
i have an incoming family asking me this question and i don't know the answer...are they required to have a paper ticket (as opposed to an e-ticket) for their flight here? i don't know who would require that-immigration, sxm, meas-so i don't know where to begin answering them. I know we always use e-tickets but i think we actually did have paper ones for coming here so maybe it is true...oh you smarties help me out here!!

well when i called American Airlines about that the other day, i was worried they would lose my return ticket after a certain period, but the lady assured me that my return e-ticket will be waiting just as long as i make the orginial flight from my itinerary...

she said the whole losing your return eticket was a rumor or something... just as long as you dont miss your departing flight, your return flight will be waiting for you in the nice little self-checkin stations... (im not sure if AA does the online checkin 24hrs prior, but i will look into it)

as for immigration and the temp. visa for SXM... MEAS said that a printed copy of my itinerary was good enough to prove that i have a roundtrip ticket

hope that helps

I was fine with a e-ticket as well.
