Does wait time seem to correlate to the strength of an individual's applications?

i think i waited a month for my acceptance... and i actually called them and they told me over the phone, and was like you will recieve your official letter in a couple of days

I called them 3 days after I sent out my application, they said that they got it and that I was accepted as soon as they received my MCAT scores ( and of course that they matched what I put on my application ). Give em call and see what the status of your app is. I got a letter a week later.

I sent my app in 6 weeks before the start of sept semester and had had an answer 3 weeks before the first day of class. Call them once or twice to check on the status of your app. More than that would irritate even me and my "Job-like" patience.
(HAHA I'm sorry I couldn't keep a straight face.)

sorry to intrude on the thread: but from the date you receive the acceptance - typically how long do they give you to accept and pay the appropriate fees? A few weeks?

Thx,
AE.

Yup, thats about how long they give to put down 1500 bucks and reserve your spot. If you decide not to attend they say give at least a month and they give 1000 bucks back.

They were flexible on the time with me. I think I paid them $1K immediately and the balance in 30 days. I don't think your seat is formally reserved though until they get the $1500 in hand. Contact your admissions advisor for specifics and to request an extension if you need it.

 I'm a complicated man with many facets that need to be expressed....or I just see a pretty picture and go "cool, i bet that would be a neat avatar..." and load it up for jollies.
