Yes, send all three. I sent three. A letter from an employer of 10 years will probably be valued above a prof. letter.

do they call your references?

well, the reason i'm hesitant to use the reference is because he has a weird sense of humour, i don't really trust him with a phone call, as he might say something strange and inadvertently offensive...

still, i have a good letter from him though, where he doesn't have the opportunity to small talk!

think i'd rather not take the chance....any suggestions...?

They didn't call mine.
If it makes you feel any better, you can still get in even if one of your profs stabs you in the back with a negative LOR.

They wrote a thank you letters to the people who gave me the references.....my boss at my work showed me the letter Saba gave thanking him for the time they put in writing the letter and also they wrote where i am going and that i will become a doc....References are very important ...during interview they asked me questions about why the person wrote a particular thing about me on the reference letter.....

Hope this helps,

well, what's your suggestion siddman?

use just the physician and professor lor, or throw in the extra lor from my employer, like i said ,the only thing i'm worried about is them calling him and him trying to be funny on the phone (the guy's pretty strange !!)

man, i'm really procrastinating...but i believe in first impressions...want to make sure my app is top notch!!

thx.

You really need the employer reference.....my application only looked good after i showed them 8 years experience at the pharmacy....but do send all of them...it won't hurt...but if you think one of them is not good..then don't send that one..you only need two of them in general but one from work is really important....just to give you an idea they asked me 4 questions about my work as an assistant pharmacist....

SiddmanI'm glad Saba does that, I wasn't aware of the thank you letters, though I sent my own thank you notes.
