is it true that an applicant who has been granted an interview has a 95% chance of getting accepted? I'm asking since I've heard this from a few SGU med students. Thanks.

I also heard that it helps to continously communicate with the admissions committee. Apparently they keep track of the number of phone calls and emails sent to them as an indicator of how serious you are at applying to SGU. I thought it was very intersting. Is there any truth to this?

yes communication is good but not on a weekly basis. nothing more irritating than perpetual "Are we there yet?"
i dont know if they keep track... thats irrelavant. your application with your credentials is relevant and thats all that matters.
its when they get to your application not go hunting for it because you made a zillion calls...

I didn't call or email once to check on my status. On the other hand, I'm pretty smrat so I probably didn't need any extra help.
