In terms of applying for residency in the US or practicing in their home country?
There are alot of canadians at the school and if you do a search I am sure you will find info regarding their experience. There are fewer students from UK or other non-north american students but they are still there.

In terms of applying for residency. I heard students from India are quiet success to have residency and practicing in USA.

can a U.S. citizen go to SGU and apply for residency training in Australia or New Zealand? Seems like it would be much phatter out there, holla.

Yes you can apply to australia or a place like that. But like when an Australian has to jump through hoops to come do residency in the US the same will happen to a US citizen. Another thing is if you ever want to come back to the US to practice you will have to redo residency in the US. SO it depends on where you want to practice for the next 30+ or so years.
But australia sounds good to me...
Did most of non US and non Canada citizen IMGs got residency/practicing in US or they returned back to their countries ?.

One thing is for certain, if you can't speak english then you have a bigger problem on your hands than non-US IMG vs. US-IMG residency placements.

seriosly i dont know the difference between perfect future tense, past perfect, and all that stuff.... The TOEFL is now included with Step 2 CS and is no longer a separate test. The comments from the Office of Career Guidence used to be "If you can read this sentence, then you are ok."
I don't care if you don't know what the past perfect tense is or a subordinating conjunction, but if you can't put together a sentence, you can't expect patients to take you seriously, let alone have effective communication with them. Of course this is why there are specialties like radiology and pathology :-)
Allow me to add: my comments are not directed to any person in particular. My use of "you" is a general "you" as in "y'all" or "a person" or "one." (Hopefully this will clear me of any TOS violation accusations.)

Steph lets ban him....
As far as TOEFL, the story is that one person did fail this exam according to the OCG and what happened is that he fell asleep for a good portion of the exam because he was so bored.

No one answered your question because no one fits the criteria you established. There are very few people in this forum who are non-north americans. And when it comes to non-US/Canadian doctors who visit this forum, i don't think i have known a single one in the 2 years i have been on this forum. You might have better luck finding that type of people in the main foreign medical school forum.
And as my father always says, if you don't like the answer then don't ask the question. Remember, you are not being charged for the advice here, so you get what you pay for.

I only know of 2 that fit your criteria. Both were from the UK and one wanted to go back there to practice. The other wants to be in the states. They go through the same process the canadians do (i.e - visas etc). Most of the canadians I know in my class were pretty successful getting matched to positions. The trick is to find programs that offer visas and are IMG friendly (not that easy of a task!)
