Salutations:

I was wondering, is SABA located next to AUC? Thanks.

saba is located 30 south of St. Maarten. I can see Saba from my apartment window. AUC is on St Maarten, but i dont know if i would say Saba is next to AUC.....makes it sound like both schools are on the same island. You guys have the volcano.....we have lots of gold plated pictures!

Look up at the top left hand side of the page (just outside the frame) and you will see abutton for new topic. Push it and voila!.

PS - They say Saba is 22 miles south of St. Maarten. You can see AUC from Saba (in Upper Hell's Gate) if you have a telescope (just look for the reflecting golden pictures of naked women :P ).

Best of Luck!

Hello! What's the big deal with AUC? Whether it is close to Saba or not is not the issue. The main stuf is get the good education and that settles it. Unless one has interest in AUC.

Saba is just close enough to AUC that on clear days I hike up to the top of the rock and stare longingly at the promised land that is St. Maarten. Every three weeks after exams I can justify not studying and I jump on the Edge, drink heartily for an hour or so, stumble off the boat and let the fun begin. For 48 hours I forget that I live on Alcatraz and I go shopping at supermarts, buy things duty free, go to good clubs, and eat subway at 4:00 in the morning. Sunday rolls around and I take the long sad, hungover trip back to reality, where I crack a book and a bottle of asprin. I don't know what AUC kids would do over here..... Hunt goats and laugh at us I guess.....

Just think how much more you're learning in the Fortress of Solitude than those slackers on Sint Maarten....
