Those who got accepted and will start your first semester, Do you all need to come up with your own money and then get reimburse from the Loan?

How long before reimbursment kicks in?

I paid the deposit from my pocket and applied for bank loans as soon i got the acceptance.....

As far as I know, the policy is that you must pay your first semester tuition prior to getting your first loan check.

this has always been the policy at saba (and mua)...

But if you apply for bank loans you don't have to worry about it.....its only when you apply for loans like IEFC/Teri then the school holds the power to release your loans.....

Used to be the policy at AUC as well. May still be.
