Volunteer with a doctor??

Does anyone know any type of volunteering (perhaps in a specific department in a hospital) that would involve a lot of interaction with a doctor?...hopefully an experience that could turn into a good recommendation letter? Thank You :)

You would probably have to ask the individual doctor if you could shadow him/her. If you go directly to them and follow that single person around for awhile (not like 1 month) there is a good chance you can get a LOR. The doctor can be anyone in your local area hospital, medical school, or even private practice.
