ethernet ports

anyone know exact locations of ethernet ports on True Blue campus that are functional?

I would like current info on this; tried asking IT about this, and they didn't give me any firm answers.

I know Bourne used to have ethernet ports that worked before the hurricane, but not so sure about that now. I;m also pretty sure that the histo lab doesn't have working ethernet ports.

supposedly the library study rooms on 3rd floor have a few that work
-does anyone know which ones ?

check each table there will be a green dot on the working port. they started making these ports less and less available since they installed wireless. good luck asking IT for help which ports work - they dont even know. its a random crapshoot.

there are a couple of ports in the 24hour study lounge on top floor of the library. The undergrad study room has a couple too. Back center row of Bourne lecture hall, SD1 study room (?), and of course the ones in the histo/path/micro lab - one per table. In any pf the places i have listed, even though there may be 2 jacks next to eachother, only one will work. I went down 1st term thinking only have ethernet would be ok. But finding a port that was functional was a hassle, so i eventually got a wireless card. You might as well get one because as far as i know there are NO functional ethernet ports here at KMC.
