What are the health and immunization requirements for rotations at NJ hospitals? I know for NY one needs PPD, Hep B and MMR titers and a physical examination. I could not find the information for NJ. Please post your experiences.
Thanks
Annual TB screening with PPD (or CXR if your PPD is positive) is a standard in just about every hospital I've been in throughout the US. This is often true for the measles titer. Hep B vaccines are usually available as a series in any hospital, too.

I couldn't find what exactly NJ wanted either. It seems like the norm is to come with a PE form, Ab titers of measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and Hep. B; along with a ppd done in the last 6mos. Will re-post if I hear anything for sure.

If you do not already have these done, the hospitals will provide these services to you free-of-charge. All of this will be done within the first week of your rotation. You can safe some hassle by having these tests done prior to your rotation but they can be very expensive. You should get a physical exam and have your doctor fill out any vaccination, labs, xrays you have had in the past. Congratulations!
