There are some schools that require a certain GPA to be maintained in the last semester of the basic science program....they will hold you back from writing the USMLE step 1.....Does St.Chris have a similar rule? Is there a certain GPA that must be kept in order for St.Chris students to write?

St. Chris is on a Pass/Fail system so there is no GPA's to be calculated. The only requirement is that you pass all your classes. You will be taking the princeton review which incorporates 3 mock USMLE exams into it which is a good indicator of your readiness for the USMLE. If you do poorly on the final princeton review exam, then you know you better take some time out and study for step one before you go on to clinicals. But you are not forced to stay an extra term so the school can make some more money off of you.
