Jan'06 vs sept'05

Just wanted to know if it is possible, provided that everything is done on schedule, to still match in 2009 if I started in Jan'06 vs Sept'05.

It might be feasible, but you would have little time to study for the Steps and would have to hit pretty much every clinical rotation back to back.
