date for end of term 1 aug 2005

Hello,
Does anyone know when term one would be over for the august 2005 class? Or, rather when we can safely book our flight home for xmas?Thanks

Wow your on top of it.... I'm not even looking to get my plane tickets until June or July... but I do plan on flying down on the 10th so we can parrty for those few days leading up till the 15th at which point I will bar myself in the library only to leave to eat, sleep and class. I'm going to have a beard like its cool jk.

Last exam is 9 December... and only if you fail one would you have to stay until 12 Dec... However it's generally easier and less likely that you would have to change a plane ticket to later, so most students book flights right after their last final.

Apparently not so on top of it cuz I couldnt find that link on my own. I saw the Dec. 12th date but wasnt sure if that referred to the last day of classes.

It's quite the task to get to grenada from vancouver. Ive had a few travel agents tell me that they had no idea how to get me there!! Others figured it out and quoted me close to $3000!! So I decided I should start looking on my own. I've found far better deals online but just didnt know when I could come home.

hmm what i would do..is perhaps fly to nyc and then from nyc fly air jamaica to grenada. i wouldnt know about the cost tho...

I just priced one on air Jamaica's website and it was like 1116 while I did orbitz and they gave me 790ish what a difference

In light of all that went on with Air Jamaica going bankrupt and many students getting screwed over when all AJ flights from grenada were cancelled 2 weeks ago, I'd think twice before flying with them.

My friend's husband is a pilot for AJ and he says flights to Grenada will only be suspended temporarily, 2 months if i remember. They go bankrupt every couple years as a result of poor management. Now would i buy tickets? Not if there was a reasonable alternative. Good luck.

i was reading the welcome package and it said that the final exam results will be posted on Dec14? but the last final is on dec9? i saw a flight back with AA on dec10, so would someone please clarify this?

Exam results are posted up usually day of/day after last final.

The Academic Progress won't get done reviewing the results until the 14th, but it is safe to leave before this as long as you don't fail any classes.
