I think they are private apartments.

I think they are private apartments.

since posting the original question: i have been to the UK, done my rotations there, found out about the hospital dorms and the private apts, came back to the states, did my fourth year in NYC, graduated from AUC and started my residency. I have been in residency for 5 months now.

thanks for answering the question....lololol:D

Are the hospital dorms nice? Are the rates posted on the AUC website the actual rates? They seemed pretty inexpensive to me ~ 600/month for apartment in London?

the only ones i know of are the ones for kingston hospital. I stayed there for 3 weeks and then moved into an apt with another auc student. i dont remember how much i paid for the 3 weeks in the dorms. we paid 800 pounds a month for the 2 bedroom/2 bath apt in a really nice neighborhood with a bus stop right in front. it was great. i believe the dorms were like 100pounds a week but i would have never stayed there for a year. it was just a room with public bathrooms... like a real dorm building.
