I am finishing up my Biology class, in which I expect to get a B+.
The teacher "knows" me since I always sit in front, go to office hours, and she esaid I ask great questions. However, I won't be sending my applications until December (For May 2006), is it too early to ask this professor for a LOR? I m just worries by August she'll more or less forgot me...I feel its better to ask while Im still fresh in her mind.
If I do ask for a LOR now, should I just send my application and her letter tothe variuos schools and then complete my file in December?

Now is definitely fine... actually better for the reasons you mentioned. Does your school have a LOR service? Where they keep LOR's on file until you send in the applications?

My alma mater has outsourced it to www.interfolio.com Might be useful, but no endorsement from me, never used it - just info :-)

Wait until you're finished with the class, then ask her. Don't ask her while you're still taking the course, perform, get the grade, and ask.

Hmmm, you're just finishing biology now? You will have all your prereqs and MCAT done by December?
