Do med schools have a semester system like undergrad does, meaning can you apply for the Spring or the Fall? Or do you have to apply at the start of each year, so each Fall?
thanks

Medical Schools in the US enroll one class per year, starting in September. The best time to submit your application is usually at the start of the AAMCAS season which is the summertime a year before expected matriculation (i.e. this June if you want to start school in 2006).
Most of the schools in the Caribbean accept three classes per year on a "rolling basis", meaning you make application to be accepted in the next available class. St. George's and Guadalajara (UAG) accept two classes per year, somewhere around January and August.
Best of Luck in Your Endeavors!

Hi,
I feel that there is only one advantage to the semester terms at med school, this is that you are not eligable to apply at one time, you can start sooner, than if you couldnt apply in may, but would be eligable to apply in june on the yearly intake, you would have 11 months of doing sod all.
