I know that in addition to completing the program there, you need to continue in the US at a US Dental School program designed for international graduates. I know that here in NY SUNY Buffalo and NYU have programs like that.
Hello
If you complete a usa bachelor degree, would it be possible to enter the 2nd or third year of the dental program in Poznan?? Since I have already taken all the required pre-med classes??
Thanks

Although I am not in the dental program, I would doubt that you would be able to start in year 2 or 3 of the dental, program simply because your first year courses include basic medical sciences such as Gross Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, as well as specific dental courses, such as, Dental Materials First Aid, Introduction to Community Dentistry, and Introduction to Medicine and Dentistry. The second year has even more dentistry-specific and practical training classes than first year.

If you've taken some of the courses offered in the first and second years, you may be able to get an exemption for them; however, this is only possible with the Professor's and the Dean's approval.
I'm not really familiar with how that might affect your chances of being able to work back in the States if you were granted exemption from several classes or even a year or two. To be sure, check with the state boards where you would like to practice, and if the admissions office says that they will allow you to start in year 2 or 3, make sure you get the statement in writing.
As a side note, the dental program is not very big in Poznan. The entering class this year has 5 students at most, so you probably won't get much information on this site regarding the dental program. My suggestion is to contact the admissions office to answer your questions and to get some names and contact information of current and past students so you can chat with them directly.

great thanks
I have spoken with the admissions person in NY and I was told that most science courses taken would transfer, but I do believe that would just lighten the initial course load or change what courses would be taken at the same time,ie. year one and two dental courses at the same time. What I do not know is how difficult it would be to get acreditation to practice in the US. The Poznan website say's they have an "informal coop" with NYU and another NY school, for an additional two years, however the NYU website says that advanced placement for international DDS students is into a 3 year program.
so I guess I'm not entirely sure if Poznan students are an exception to that rule or what.
And in addition I have seen a couple advanced placement policies of Dental Schools that have an advanced placement fee of 40K
