first semester books

Hi all,

I was just wondering if someone can please tell me the list of the books that i would need for the first semester or any books that would help me get thru the first semester. Thanks a lot....

Does anybody know when they are going to post the book list for May 2005 term? I have been checking but it is still the one from Jan. I wanna start looking to see where I can buy my books.

its probably not going to change, it's been the same books for the at least the last year. I'd wait b/c you'll find you won't have to really read anything besides your lecture handouts.

I see, cause from past posts it seems like the big packets the profs give are good enough and then if you want more you go through the book.

does anyone know what supplies we need? are microscopes recomended? if i got one, would I actually use it? Do you need tuning forks and otoscopes? I got a white lab coat and stethoscope and bp cuff but i didnt know if we needed all of the other medical equipment right away.

You will need the white coat but you won't need the rest of the equipment for first semester. You won't need the microscope at all. All the slides are now on a CD the prof. will give you.
