off topic... why do you guys call it 'exchange rate'?

i've only heard it used in economics. but not in this context

I'll be there as well. :-)

When are people getting there? I'm thinking I'll be there on the 1st as well. Is there a list of books and things we need to bring with us somewhere? I've seen some reports of stethescopes and microscopes (?) etc. I couldn't find any of this stuff in my welcome packet. I'm kinda nervous about the housing situation, what do you guys think?
