How long??

Could anyone tell me how long it takes to hear if an interview has been granted and then how long after this to be accepted or rejected? Thanks.

hey,
I applied and then I heard for an interview in about a week. My interview is day after tomorrow so I don't really know how long it takes to hear for acceptance after interview. Hope that helps good luck

After my application got to New Jersey, it took 2 weeks for them to grant me an interview and 2 weeks after the interview I got accepted. My interviewer told me that it takes up to 5 weeks for a response after the interview because your application and interview evaluation gets sent to the island for final review and decision.

My daughter applied in Feb., interviewed in March, was accepted in April, and on the island in May. That was in 2003, so things may have changed.

Once our office receives all of the required documents, including your completed application, letters of recommendation, transcripts and MCAT scores, it usually takes less than a week to find out if you qualify for an interview. You will be notified either via email or postal mail. If you do qualify, you can schedule the interview immediately at the location closest to you. After your interview, it generally takes between 4-6 weeks to get a decision back from the committee on the island. We do try to expedite the files of those applying for the next entering class so that the student has plenty of time to prepare for their matriculation to Dominica.
