Do you have to use SABA's forms for letters of recommendation, or is it ok to simply have your recommendors mail individual letters

I had my professors just write letters of req, but I am sure that the school would prefer if possible to also include theirs.... but I doubt that its manditory

What my professors did was fill out the top part of Saba's form and then attached their own letters of recommendation on university letterhead. Worked for me.

That's what I'm having my professors do, too.

I just got couple of recommendation letters...one typed by my professor and the other from my work place and just added those to my application package that I had and send all of them together. By the way...Saba do take the letters seriously...they even mailed back thank you letters to the personnel who wrote the letters for me. Hope this helps....

well, let's just say you can survive a letter of recc. from a pre-med advisor who makes accusations that you are lazy or untalented....just be able to explain that working 40 per week night shifts was the reason for that B in the pre-med advisors Biochem class in a calm and polite manner.
