Hurricane and SGU

How did the SGU campus handle the hurricane? Is the campus still intact? What were the differences you saw after it?

The True Blue Campus handled the hurricane well, relatively speaking. most of the campus is in working order, but there is still alot of construction going on most notably at the upper levels of the library and the science building. Still the school is in much better condition then where we finished up the term in the US. I imagine the campus will be back to pre ivan standards by the time the aug 2005 class comes along.

I think the campus is doing just fine. Certainly some work is still taking place but I don't think it's having any kind of negative effect on us.

Campus is still much better off than the rest of the island. Anyone with roofing/construction experience could stay busy for a long time.

I went to Grenada 1 month after Ivan to visit the school.

campus looks almost the same except for what was mentioned about the construction going on. It is mostly roof tiles in the Z building and the library. The path lab was not done at the beginning of the semester but now it is. Bourne looks new though I must say it is freezing in there.
