Hey everyone,
I was just notified today that I was accepted into SGU for August 2005, into the Alternate program. So i understand that the Alternate program is equivalent to decelerating, but I'm a little hazy as to the repurcussions with residency. If I stay an extra semester on the island, that means I graduate 6 months later - does this mean that I would effectively be entering the same residency class as the August class entering the year behind me (in this case August 2006). I guess what I'm getting to is, does my graduating late cause me to enter residency a year behind my August 2005 peers?
