I was alittle concerned about housing on st. lucia, does Spartan provide housing for the first semester and if not how difficult is it to find housing, also what is the crime like where the students live?
The first two semesters seem overwhelming, what are the exam schedules like and how do current students feel about the curriculum.
Thanks.

Coming to the island without any prearrangements for housing is difficult to get past. You might find it a little hectic during your first few days after arriving, but there is plenty of houses nearby campus to rent on a monthly basis. The school driver will take you on a short ride around the blocks to show you what's available.
As far as exam schedules are concerned, you'd be surprised to find out that the first two trimesters have least number of exams out of all four. As a first trimester student you'll be studying five courses (anatomy, physiology, biostatistics, embryology, and physiology), with an average of one exam per week. You'll have to plow through 9, 13, and 15 courses for second, third, and fourth trimesters. At this point, you're looking at average of 2 exams per week, though on odd occasions there will be few weeks with no or 3 exams.
It's do-able. Everyone somehow finds way to study hard and party hard :)
