LSMU is great, better than russian med schools due to the fact that they are proven to give 100% help and supposrt to international students!! I am going to lugansk state medical university (pre-med) in november, hows about you?
Just out of curiousity, how is it 100% proven that they support international students?

Hehe, I would want to find out if I was making the right move too!
As it seems that you have convinced yourself that "they are proven to give 100% help and supposrt to international students!!" then there should be no problem!
If you want to find bad things about the university, Im sure you will if you look enough. And if you want to find some good things about it, Im sure you can find some as well.
I don't think, however, that this forum will really ever convince you that leaving your country to go to the Ukraine for 6 years in the hopes of being happy and becoming a doctor is the "right move".
Many of us are in the same situation as you - hoping that we have made the right move. One piece of advice that is ubiquitous on these forums is to visit the school. Try to think seriously about the fact that this is 6 years of your life and a major step in your career. It's worth the money and time it takes to visit the school - but mostly it's worth the peace of mind it will give you.
Also, hehehe, Ukrainian women are pretty :)

dont know much abou the school that u are concerned about....but u must be carefull when the univ appears too good(thats from my personal experience)...and also from where did u get the contacts of the students that u spoke with if its from the university website then b careful!!!!...I had been to Ukraine last year for a medical conferance and the experiance was not very good ......their economy os poor ..and we see ukranian labours out here in Russia .........at Kiev I had been to a med school that they call the BEST MED SCHOOL in Ukraine .....there i discovered that the system was similar to Russia and other CIS countries but the infrastructure was poor ......the Instruments dates back to the soviet times ...we have such instruments in our Academy Museum ......the infrastructure was worse that any school of moscow/st Petersburg but the administration was better than my school.....
so be careful n have a first hand experience...kiev is a cool city! n avoid agents if possible......more over i think its wrong to compare a perticular school with Russian schools in General ....Russian school of Moscow n St petersburg have far far better infrastructure than any other part of Russia or CIS (ukraine in cluded) and its a well proven fact
