What is the average age for incoming students to SMU? Is it a disadvantage to be an older student when going for a residency program or licensing?

I don't know about SMU specifically, but I know there are residents out there in their 50s, and even 60s, so age shouldn't play too large of a role. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just what Conway said. We have students of all ages. One of our very active alums started Basic Sciences at 53, and is about to finish his residency.
