Does anyone have any informtion on when scholarships/interest free loans will be annouced for incomming students? Does anyone know how successful most students are in acquiring these scholarships/interest free loans? I applied for everything I could. Are there GPA/MCAT cut-offs? I'm hoping that perhaps an upper classman could comment on this. For those who were successful in the past, what were your GPA/MCATs, etc?
Thanks.

i can answer the first part of your question.
i called and asked about it because they hadn't gotten back to me yet- they told me i didn't have all the right financial stuff in yet or something, but anyway- the said they will be evaluating the current set of scholarship apps around feb 1. this is the 2nd batch that they are evaluating i think. so we'll most likely find out after we have started, but that's ok because they will deduct the amount from your loans or tuition accordingly if you are approved

Im started in Aug and they let me know 1 week prior to my arrival in Grenada, I dont know what the requirements/ cutoffs are. I had an undergrad GPA of 3.7+, MCAT in the 30's, but unlike alot of students im not from a wealthy family. I think about 10-25 percent of people get some sort of scholarship.
best of luck,

I received my scholarships and interest free loans a long time ago. Check with admissions

Yeah... What I think they are referring to are the subsidized Federal Stafford loans... no interest while in school, but once out of school, interest acumulates.
