A few weeks ago someone mentioned a site with informal, general numbers of those accepted in different residencies. I was wondering if anyone knew what that site was or one like it. I know numbers aren't the whole of it, but it would be nice to see what Step I scores were competitive for different specialties.

That information is very tough to discern...... basically it's what you'd think...the higher the number....the greater the number of interviews....and the more competitive for tougher residencies....or higher sought after 'easier' residencies. And there is.... a wide variety based on LORs...research... rotations at set hospitals....and work experience. I'd aim for 220's minimum for steps one and two to 'open' a few doors and even that's not for sure. The facts will all settle for you and you'll realize all of these discussions turn out to be moot....because you'll have a set of scores like it or not....and you'll have to 'use' what you have.
