Would I be able to adequately survive without a laptop for potentially the first couple of weeks of school? I'm probably going to have mine shipped down to me in Grenada, and was curious as to whether I'm making a big mistake in planning this. I was planning on simply using library computers until my laptop arrives. Any foreseable problem with doing this? Thanks.

I'm not yet a current student, but I think if I were you, I would be seriously concerned about dealing with tech support or customer care issues if the laptop you ship to Grenada turns out to have any glitches or gets damaged during shipping...Its a real pain dealing with them from the US; I can only imagine that calling from Grenada would be even more difficult....
It is best to take it with you before you arrive. Shipping is slow and expensive. you will need the computer from the first day. Everything in this school is electronic from lectures to anatomy quizes. Good luck finding a library computer available!!
