faculty turnover is a fact all schools ( medical or non-medical) have to deal with. However what is somewhat troubling to me is the high turn over rate that exist at Saba University.
Just Monday ,Jan 12th 2005, Dr.XXXXX, who was the dean of students ( very active within the student community) , and professor of pharmacology, immediately resigned and moved on to Ross University. He was frank enough to say to me that the he was not sorry for leaving Saba University because of the conduct of the administrative deans.
Now this is no secret as to that statement. Many students, including your truely, have witness the behavior of this individual on campus as well as off campus.I must say it leaves a lot to be desired for a dean.
Saba U is a great school. It allows me to pursue my ambition of being a physician at a price with is affordable to me. However it saddens my heart to know that these deans are the ones who we have to look up to .
