Has anyone's spouse obtained employment while on the Cayman islands? If so, could you please provide some guidance. Thanks.

My husband had been working in Cayman for the entire time that I was in school down there. They must have a job prior to coming to the island because it is illegal to seek employment while on a visitor/tourist visa. The best site out there for finding a job in Cayman is www.jobinthesun.com. There is a fee to join the site and see details on job listings and apply but you can browse thru the basic listing until you see something you are interested in and then pay the fee. In the mean time they have forums where many people, some that already live and work there and some still trying to make it happen, that will gladly answer any questions you have about finding a job or just general stuff about the Island.
If there is any other questions you want to ask me or my husband feel free to PM me.

Hello,
Jobs in Cayman are available for husbands/spouses.
It is better to have the employment before you come in, but the reality is that a lot of people acutally come here on "vacations" and are looking for jobs on the island.
Your future employer if he is interested by you and that you are not competiting with a local, will do all the immigration and work permit processes for you.
Do not forget that as every country in the world, locals have first choice on the jobs.
Let me know if you need more information
