Hi,
I currently have MSN internet service. I am considering switching
to Roadrunner here in the states, so that I won't be disconnected
so often from the internet. Do you know if it will work in Luton?
It is high-speed broadband service, if you may not be familiar with Roadrunner.
Thanks

Sorry DrClarke,
I have never heard of road runner here. I know it is really popular back at home, but the only broadband services I know of here are NTL and BT. See the forum:

for more info.

Thanks, BTS. I called Roadrunner and was told
it would not work in England. So thanks anyway.

I recommend Earthlink Network.

I've been with them since day one.

If we have it here, can we get service over there and maintain our current email addresses Henry? This would be fabulous if it is true.

Sorry, this led to some confusion.
Earthlink can only be accessed via the Internet if you get a UK Internet account like NTL.
Earthlink does have international access numbers but you have to pay per min charges. This is not recommended because it will cost you a lot of money.
So you would have to get 2 Internet accounts just to do this.
One in the US (Earthlink) and one in the UK (NTL, BT, AOL).
I do this so I can preserve my US Internet account and I'll be able to have access to the Web when I go home on holidays.
If you want a UK specific account, you need to sign up with NTL, BT, or the UK division of AOL.

When I go to an Internet cafe, I just check my email through the Web browser. For AOL, you would probably go to one of these sites:
http://www.aol.com/ (US version)
http://www.aol.co.uk/ (UK version)
As for MSN, you would probably go here:
http://www.msn.com/ (US version)
http://www.msn.co.uk/ (UK version)
